TRACE Ultraviolet View of January 20, 2005 Solar Flare
AR 10720 in the TRACE 1600 angstrom band.
Proton hits now fill the field-of-view.
The footpoint regions of the coronal loops are bright at thtector is becoming saturated.

Once the protons have passed, we now see the coronal loop structures.
