Good morning everyone! What we are going to be doing this morning when we get in the cleanroom is we are going to go over the FGS
Scott Altman
Mission Commander,
Well, we come here to Goddard because the real equipment is here. You know we can go into the cleanroom and work with the actual science instruments that we are going to be working on in space.
Andrew Feustal
Mission Specialist
Are we going for 14 or 16?
Michael Massimino
Mission Specialist, EVA Astronaut,
22 is your program.
Scott Altman
Mission Commander
Plus you've got all the resources here with all the people who designed that equipment, built it, so, when questions come up; how does this work, does that go in like this; you've got the technical experts right here to answer those questions.
Michael Massimino
Mission Specialist
When the lights go out and then you have another two after that, and then come down, you'll see your clearance.
Scott Altman
Mission Commander
It's so impressive when you touch flight hardware for the first time and realize that this is the stuff that is going to be in the telescope, making observations possible as soon as our mission flies.
