Music. Jim Garvin: It all comes down to this. After years of development by our engineers here at Goddard, we have to get there. And access to space is everything. And while we don't launch things from our Greenbelt facility at Goddard, we do launch from our Wallops Flight Facility about a hundred miles away on the coast of Virginia. And at Wallops, we launch small rockets, scout rockets, minotaurs and others that transform the ideas, the development and the dreams into the reality in space. And after our rockets get us there, our operations engineers here at Goddard take over. They check out the vital signs, the pulse of our spacecraft, so that we can get the data back to do the science we set out to do.
