Hi. My name is Trena Ferrell-Branch and I'm going to discuss with you educational resources for educators.

With recent weather events, hurricanes are quite popular, and, educators, many of you have to teach this in your curriculum. So NASA has a hurricane page. With this hurricane page, you can discuss and track past and present hurricanes, such as Katrina or Irene.

Earthquakes have been in the news recently, and if you're interested in finding out more information about earthquakes, please go to NASA's Earth Observatory site. Here you will find images, news stories and other things related to natural disasters, such as hurricanes and earthquakes.

If you want your students to feel like real-live scientists and engineers, then follow NASA's newest satellite, NPP. This satellite will do global ocean and atmospheric measurements. And there is a great student page associated with this.

Educators, if you're interested in receiving--for free--the Earth Science Week kit, then here's what you need to do: Look at the email address below and email us on how you're going to use this kit in your classroom and we will mail out 25 kits to the first 25 educators that tell us how they will use this information in their classrooms.
