Mission Proposal: Polar GOES-like spacecraft (beauty shot)
This visualization was created to support a mission proposal led by Lars Peter Riishojgaard. This mission would fly a GOES-like spacecraft in a polar elliptical orbit around the Earth providing a large percentage of observing time for northern polar regions. This version of the visualization is a beauty shot first showing the orbit from afar, then moving into the orbital plane and riding the orbit as the spacecraft would.
